MINUTES OF MEETING OF COLLECTOR CUSTOMS EXPORTS, KARACHI TO DISCUSS EXPORT EXAMINATION ISSUES
Consequent to the meeting held with Collector Customs Exports, Karachi ? KICT and PICT, Mr. Manzoor Hussain Memon at PHMA House, Karachi on 3rd December, 2014, and these officials have been very receptive and cooperative to the issues and problems of Export Examination discussed therein.
In this regard, a meeting of Collector Customs Exports, Karachi ? KICT and PICT, Mr. Manzoor Hussain Memon was held with the representatives of the Terminal Operators (Karachi Port) on 22-12-2014 on the following issues:
1. Damages to export goods during de-stuffing and re-stuffing;
2. Theft of goods from the port; and
3. Non demarcation of export and import examination areas at the port
