SUBJECT:   REQUEST FOR PURCHASE OF SNIFFER DOGS FOR CARRYING OUT NARCOTICS SEARCH OF EXPORT CONSIGNMENTS BY CANINE UNIT OF DRUG ENFORCEMENT CELL OF MCC PREVENTIVE.

 

We are attaching herewith a copy of letter received from Model Customs Collectorate of Preventive Ref. No.dec/Misc-12/2012-HQ dated 30^th June, 2012 on the subject, which is self explanatory.

 

In view of the paucity of sniffer dogs to carry out Narcotics search by the Canine Unit of Drug Enforcement Cell of MCC Preventive which is required to facilitate the exports and trade.

 

We would like to have feedback from our valued members on the subject as to how we can cooperate in the matter and also your suggestions / proposals for speeding up the process of checking by Canine Unit of Drug Enforcement Cell of MCC Preventive, ANF clearance and timely loading of containers on the vessels.
