Subject: INFORMATION REQUIRED REGARDING TESTS CURRENTLY CONDUCTED ABROAD

 

Dear Member,

The Government of Pakistan intends to establish a world-class Testing, Certification and Quality Assurance Laboratory for exporters. In this regard, the Prime Minister of Pakistan has directed the National Compliance Centre (NCC), Ministry of Commerce, Islamabad, to collect information regarding testing facilities currently unavailable in Pakistan, for which exporters are required to send samples abroad.

PHMA members are therefore requested to provide product-wise details of such tests in the following format:

Note: Members are requested to provide information only for tests that are not available in Pakistan and for which samples are presently being sent abroad. The estimated testing cost and turnaround time may be provided on an approximate basis.

The requested information may kindly be furnished to PHMA by tomorrow, 1st October 2026, by email at tsc@phmaonline.com, so that the same can be consolidated and submitted to the National Compliance Centre (NCC), Ministry of Commerce, for further processing.

Your cooperation in this important initiative to strengthen Pakistan's export testing and certification infrastructure will be highly appreciated.
