Subject: Important & Urgent - Income Tax Notices under Section 177(1)




Dear Members,

 

It has come to the attention of the Association that the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has issued Income Tax audit/scrutiny notices, including notices under Section 177(1) (Notice to call for record / documents / books of account), to a number of PHMA members.

 

All members who have received such notices are requested to immediately inform the Association and share complete details on or before 14 April 2026 (Tuesday) through the following channels:

The information is being collected on an urgent basis to enable the Association to take up the matter with the higher authorities of FBR for early resolution and necessary facilitation of members.
