Pakistan Hosiery Manufacturers & Exporters Association ? Police Liaision Committee was constituted under the patronage of the then I.G. Sindh Syed Kamal Shah on 5 ^th June 2002. Its Monitoring Cell was established at PHMA House Karachi inaugurated on 23 ^rd July 2002 by Mr Asad Jahangir Khan, CCPO/ I.G. Karachi. The said monitoring cell office is well equipped with a police wireless set connected with Karachi Police Office manned by a Police Officer ? ASI on duty round the clock to respond to PHMA members complaints relation to law and order, crimes, robberies, snatching, carjacking etc., supported by dedicated PHMA-PLC mobile for patrolling, extra vigilance, escort and other relevant use.
