ISSUES BEING FACED
BY THE INDUSTRIES / PRIVATE SECTOR IN PAKISTAN

On the directions of Prime
Minister of Pakistan, Board of Investment has started an initiative called
Pakistan regulatory Modernization Initiative (PRMI). Key objective of this
initiative is mapping, simplification, elimination and automation to minimize interaction
of businessmen with the Government. Self-explanatory letter of Board of
Investment dated 22nd March, 2021 on the subject which was received on 31st
March, 20201 is attached herewith for perusal.

To identify and share
regulatory difficulties like registration / approval / NOCs / Licenses etc.
being faced by the industries due to burdensome regulations of Government
Department, it is advised to send the details of issues / problems / hurdles as
per the attached proforma.
