FBR requests to Ports and Container Terminals for further relief in Demurrage and Detention Charges
The Federal Board of Revenue, in view of lock-down and restriction of movement of vehicles, has requested the Ports and Container Terminals that demurrage and detention charges may not be charged from the importers for a period of 15 days in addition to the free time already allowed by the Port Authorities.A self explanatory letter of FBR addressed to Ports and Container Terminals is attached herewith for the information of members.Best RegardsPHMA
