Custom Rebate and Sales Tax Refund Claims
We are pleased
to inform all our valued members that the Advisor (Customs / Sales Tax),
Federal Tax Ombudsman (FTO) visited PHMA House, Karachi on 14 March
2019 and emphasized that the taxpayers in their own interest should
approach & report to FTO of their unnecessary pending Custom Rebate and
Sales Tax Refund Claims for justice.
During meeting,
he also urged the exporters to file complaints about their old pending
manual claims of Custom Rebate and Sales Tax Refund cases due to missing of
records by FBR for release of payments.
Therefore,
valued members are requested to approach the FTO Office located at FTO
Regional Office, 4th Floor, Shaheen Complex M.R. Kayani Road, Karachi Tel
99213586-90 with statement of their details of pending
Claims separately of Customs and Sales Tax.
