SEMINAR ON TRADE FACILITATION AGENDA – ELECTRONIC e-FORM MODULE UNDER WEBOC

All our valued members are advised to positively participate in a Pre-Rollout Meeting / Seminar on Trade Facilitation Agenda - Electronic E-Form Module under WEBOC.

Venue: PHMA House, Karachi

Mr. Abdul Majid Yousfani will be presenting before PHMA members, the module prepared by Pakistan Customs with the support of State Bank of Pakistan and in consultation with Pakistan Banking Association and other stakeholders as exporters’ E-Forms were being misused for smuggling of Narcotics out of Pakistan.

With the advent of the electronic e-Form, the paper documents will be eliminated and export shipments will be facilitated apart from reduction in the cost of doing business. This new scheme will provide Pakistani exporters an edge over their competitors in the region and will also enable to eliminate the threat for mis-use of the e-form by unscrupulous elements whose purpose to damage the perception and image of the genuine trade of the country.

The team visiting PHMA House will comprise of the following:
